According to Genelia, the event was an awards function that she was attending after a long time. She had dressed up and wore high heels, but after meeting many people and engaging in conversations, her feet were "killing" her. As Riteish and Preity were conversing, the cameraman captured her expressions of discomfort.
Addressing the chatter about being a "possessive wife," Genelia stated that these speculations meant very little to her. She emphasized the strength and depth of her bond with Riteish, stating that it couldn't be shaken by such frivolous things. "I'm very clear that I have to be Riteish's number one. I don't care about these things. They are too frivolous for us. We've dated for 23 years now!" she asserted.
