The anticipation surrounding Suriya's 45th film, 'Karuppu', has reached fever pitch with the unveiling of a new power-packed poster and the announcement of the teaser release date. Directed by RJ Balaji, 'Karuppu' is touted to be a social justice-focused court drama, marking the first collaboration between the actor and director.

The film's teaser is scheduled to drop on July 23, coinciding with Suriya's 50th birthday, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The production house, Dream Warrior Pictures, shared the first look of Suriya from 'Karuppu' ahead of the teaser launch. The poster showcases Suriya in a black shirt and matching lungi, sporting aviators and smoking a cigar, exuding style and swagger.

RJ Balaji also confirmed the teaser release, captioning his post with "கருப்பன் வரான் வழி மறிக்காதே #Karuppu," which roughly translates to "Karuppan is coming, don't block the way".

'Karuppu' boasts a stellar cast, including Trisha as the female lead, marking her reunion with Suriya after their collaboration in 'Aaru' (2005). The film also features Swasika, Indrans, Yogi Babu, Sshivada, Anagha Ravi, Supreeth Reddy, and Natty Natraj in pivotal roles.

Suriya is reportedly playing the role of a lawyer in 'Karuppu', and the film's story revolves around a court case and the pursuit of social justice. This role is expected to showcase Suriya's acting talent and his commitment to social issues.

Sai Abhayankkar is debuting as the music director for 'Karuppu', and great importance has been given to the music, considering the film's intense courtroom sequences. The background music and the overall presentation of the teaser and trailers are expected to generate excitement among fans.
