Ranbir Kapoor's Grounded Nature: Avoiding Celebrity Perks, Standing in Line and Dining Solo, Reveals Rajeev Masand.

Ranbir Kapoor, despite his immense stardom and belonging to a prominent Bollywood family, apparently consciously avoids the trappings of celebrity culture. This was recently highlighted by Rajeev Masand, former journalist and current COO of Dharma Cornerstone Agency, who shared an anecdote illustrating Kapoor's down-to-earth nature.

Masand recalled an instance where he spotted Kapoor standing alone in a queue at an airport. Surprised by this unusual sight, Masand inquired about Kapoor's team. Kapoor's response, "What team?", underscored his preference for navigating public spaces without the entourage typically associated with actors. Masand emphasized that actors are rarely seen alone, usually accompanied by an "army of people."

This isn't the first time Kapoor's aversion to typical celebrity behavior has been noted. He notably maintains a low profile, avoids social media, and doesn't employ a PR team. Despite this, his popularity and star power remain undiminished. Masand suggests that this unpretentious attitude is simply part of who Kapoor is, reflecting a conscious choice to distance himself from the often-artificial world of celebrity.

The actor's grounded nature is also reflected in his personal life. He has often spoken about the importance of family and personal connections. This approach contrasts sharply with the carefully curated public image that many celebrities cultivate. Kapoor's choice to stand in queues and eat alone suggests a desire for normalcy and a rejection of the special treatment often afforded to those in the public eye.

This attitude could stem from several factors. Perhaps it is a reaction against the intense scrutiny and manufactured image-making that defines much of celebrity culture. It may also reflect a desire to maintain a sense of personal freedom and authenticity. Whatever the reasons, Kapoor's actions present a refreshing contrast to the often-ostentatious behavior associated with stardom.
