A shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh has come to light, where a house help was caught on camera allegedly urinating in a glass and sprinkling the urine on utensils in her employer's kitchen. The disturbing act was discovered after the employer's family members began experiencing unexplained health issues, prompting them to install a hidden camera in the kitchen.
In one instance, a businessman in Ghaziabad noticed his family members were suffering from liver problems. Suspecting foul play, his wife decided to monitor the house help's activities. They secretly recorded a video using a mobile phone, which captured the house help allegedly mixing urine in the dough used to make rotis. The house help, identified as Reena, 32, from Shanti Nagar Colony, was arrested.
Similarly, a businessman Satyam Mittal from Bijnor, UP, noticed some changes in the behavior of their 55-year-old maid Samanna, who had been working for them for 10 years. The family installed a CCTV camera in the kitchen and were shocked to discover Samanna urinating in a glass and then sprinkling the urine on the utensils. The family immediately decided to file a complaint with the police.
Upon interrogation, Reena initially denied the allegations but later admitted to the act when shown the video. According to police reports, the house help claimed she was motivated by revenge after being frequently scolded by her employer for minor mistakes.
These incidents have raised significant concerns about household safety and trust. In light of such incidents, the Uttar Pradesh government announced it would introduce a new law against sellers who "hide their identity" and mix human waste or inedible material in food items and beverages.
