Recently, Salman Khan was spotted in Mumbai, prompting a flurry of reactions from fans after he appeared to try and shield his face from the paparazzi. The actor's gesture has sparked curiosity and speculation among fans, with many wondering about the reasons behind his attempt to remain out of the public eye.

Khan's recent appearances have been noteworthy for a couple of reasons. He was seen sporting a brand-new haircut and a thick moustache, which strongly hint at his military role in his upcoming film, "Battle Of Galwan". A motion poster from the film showcased Khan in a rugged look, complete with blood marks on his face and that signature moustache, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect: an emotional and patriotic performance set in a challenging high-altitude location.

However, this isn't the first time in recent months that Salman Khan has made headlines for his interactions with the paparazzi. Back in May 2025, he returned to Mumbai with heavy security and seemingly avoided the paparazzi after facing backlash for a ceasefire tweet.

In other news, Salman Khan's security has been a topic of concern following a shooting incident outside his residence in April 2024. Gunshots were fired near Galaxy Apartments, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang suspected of involvement. This event led to enhanced security measures for the actor, including the acquisition of a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV and an expanded security team. Khan also clarified that the enclosure of his balcony with bulletproof glass was due to fans trying to climb up to meet him.

On the professional front, Salman Khan is set to host Bigg Boss 19, and reports suggest he will be charging between ₹120-150 crores for the 15-week duration. The show is expected to premiere around August 30 on JioHotstar, with a television telecast on Colors. This season will have an Artificial Intelligence-inspired theme, and the Bigg Boss house has been redesigned. While Khan is expected to begin the season as host, there are reports that other celebrities may take over mid-season.
