In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh, a woman has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband with the help of her lover. The crime involved a brutal attack and an attempt to conceal the victim's identity.

According to police reports, Tabassum (29), the wife of the deceased Yousuf (29), had been having an extramarital affair with Danish (27). Together, they allegedly conspired to kill Yousuf. The heinous act was carried out in Kasganj district, where Yousuf's body was discovered near a brick kiln.

Yousuf's family filed a missing person report at Chharra police station in Aligarh on August 2, stating that he had been missing since the morning. On Sunday night, the police were alerted to the discovery of charred remains near a brick factory. The family identified the body, which led to the unraveling of the crime.

The post-mortem report revealed the gruesome details of the murder. Yousuf's hands were tied behind his back, and he was stabbed in the stomach with a sharp weapon. To make identification difficult, the accused poured acid on his face and other parts of his body and also removed the hair from his head. The body was then dumped in bushes near an abandoned brick kiln, where it remained undiscovered for four days. The severe burns from the acid made identification challenging, and the body was already decomposing and infested with maggots when found.

Yousuf's father, Bhoore Khan, and brother Mubeen Saifi, accused Tabassum and Danish of the murder. Mubeen stated that Danish had met Yousuf under the pretense of offering work and gradually started visiting their home. Yousuf suspected that Tabassum was having phone conversations with Danish, which led to disputes within the family. Police suspect that this opposition may have cost Yousuf his life.

Circle Officer (Chharra) Dhanajay informed reporters that the police are actively searching for Danish and other family members suspected of involvement in the murder. CO Sadar Aanchal Chauhan stated that the murder has been confirmed based on the post-mortem report and statements from family members. Police teams have been formed to locate the absconding accused.

This incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the extremes of domestic disputes and illicit relationships. The police are conducting a thorough investigation, examining all aspects of the case.
