The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) recently issued a notice to actor Kartik Aaryan regarding his alleged participation in an Independence Day event in Houston, USA. The event, named "Azadi Utsav," is reportedly being organized by a Pakistani-owned restaurant.

In response to the FWICE notice and circulating promotional materials, Kartik Aaryan's team has released an official statement clarifying the actor's position. The statement asserts that Kartik Aaryan is not associated with the event in any capacity. It further emphasizes that he has never made any official announcement regarding his participation. The team has also contacted the organizers, requesting the removal of all promotional materials featuring his name and image.

FWICE's concern stemmed from the Pakistani affiliations of the event organizer. The film body urged Kartik Aaryan to withdraw from the event, keeping in mind the current socio-political climate.

Kartik Aaryan, known for films like "Chandu Champion," has been navigating the world of Bollywood, where fame often intertwines with controversy. He emphasizes focusing on his work and maintaining silence on controversies.

This isn't the first time Kartik Aaryan has faced scrutiny. Earlier in his career, rumors circulated about creative differences during the filming of "Dostana 2," ultimately leading to Dharma Productions recasting the film. He has also been the subject of gossip regarding alleged romantic relationships with co-stars.

Recently, Kartik Aaryan joined the meme fest sparked by a viral "kiss cam" video from a Coldplay concert. He posted a reel on Instagram recreating the moment, humorously depicting himself almost getting caught cheating on his diet.
