Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flagship initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), has been awarded a Guinness World Record for the "Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month". This recognition comes after the 8th edition of the program, which garnered an unprecedented 3.53 crore registrations on the MyGov platform. The official Guinness World Record certificate was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is a unique platform conceptualized and led by PM Modi, facilitating direct interaction between the Prime Minister and students, teachers, and parents. Launched in 2018, the program aims to create a stress-free environment for students during exam preparations and promote holistic learning. The 2025 edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha witnessed over 21 crore viewership across various media platforms, highlighting its widespread reach and impact.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan hailed PPC as a transformative initiative that has redefined how India approaches examinations, turning stress into a festival of learning. He emphasized that PPC has evolved into a nationwide movement, conveying the message that exams are not the end but a new beginning. The overwhelming participation in PPC 2025 reflects the country's collective commitment to holistic and inclusive education and aligns with the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

Electronics and Information Technology, Railways and Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, described PPC as a unique initiative that brings together students, parents, and teachers to promote well-being and stress-free learning. He highlighted the wide range of career opportunities available to students and noted that the Guinness World Record demonstrates the strong public trust in the initiative.

The success of Pariksha Pe Charcha can be attributed to its focus on addressing key issues related to exam stress, time management, digital distractions, and emotional resilience. Through interactive sessions, PM Modi offers practical guidance to students, parents, and educators, encouraging a positive mindset and inspiring confidence in facing academic challenges. The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes stress-free, experiential learning.

The 8th edition of PPC, held on February 10, 2025, in New Delhi, featured several notable personalities, including Sadhguru, Deepika Padukone, Mary Kom, and Avani Lekhara. These guests shared their experiences and insights on mental health, stress management, determination, and triumph, further enriching the program's impact. The event hosted 2,500 students, and the top participants were granted a special visit to the Prime Minister's residence.

Pariksha Pe Charcha has not only provided a platform for students to voice their concerns and seek guidance but has also fostered a sense of community and shared purpose. The program's success in achieving a Guinness World Record underscores its significance as a citizen engagement platform and its contribution to creating a positive and supportive environment for students across the nation.
