The release of Rajinikanth's "Coolie," directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has triggered massive celebrations across India, marking the superstar's return to the big screen. Fans have transformed cinema halls into festive venues, dancing to dhol beats and showering flower petals. The frenzy surrounding the film's release is a testament to Rajinikanth's enduring popularity and the anticipation built around this action thriller.

Social media is flooded with videos capturing the exuberant celebrations. Many fans gathered at cinema halls early in the morning, and some were seen pouring milk on giant posters of Rajinikanth as a celebratory ritual. Videos also show fans dancing to dhol beats both outside and inside the theaters. Some enthusiastic fans even danced in the elevators on their way to the screenings.

The excitement reached such a fever pitch that some screenings were briefly paused when Rajinikanth made his first appearance on screen. Audiences erupted in cheers, standing up from their seats and dancing in the aisles to celebrate their beloved "Thalaivar". The film has been released coinciding with Rajinikanth completing 50 years in cinema.

"Coolie" has already generated significant buzz, crossing ₹100 crore in pre-sales and selling a huge number of tickets. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and boasts a star cast. Anirudh R has composed the music for the film, and the songs have already become popular.

"Coolie" is clashing with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's "War 2".
