While fans may be eager to see Munawar Faruqui host Bigg Boss, the comedian has addressed the possibility. According to Bollywood Bubble, at an event for his show The Society, Munawar expressed his admiration for Salman Khan and stated that he doesn't want to host Bigg Boss because no one can do what Salman Khan does on the weekends. He also said he has learned kindness from Salman Khan.

Fresh off his Bigg Boss 17 win, Munawar Faruqui is stepping into the world of hosting, but not on Bigg Boss. He is co-hosting Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check alongside Sonali Bendre. The show, which premieres August 2, 2025, on Colors TV and JioHostar, replaces Laughter Chefs 2 in its weekend timeslot. Pati Patni Aur Panga features celebrity couples navigating relationship challenges. Couples include Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary, Sudesh Lehri and Mamta Lehri, Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad, Geetika Phogat and Pawan Kumar, and Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani. Munawar will offer the husband's perspective, while Sonali Bendre will share the wife's point of view, in exploring the dynamics of real-life celebrity couples. Munawar stated that he is excited to work with Sonali Bendre, who has been an inspiration to him for years.

Munawar is also hosting a new reality show on JioHotstar called The Society, which premieres July 21. Billed as a social experiment, 25 contestants will compete for 200 hours inside a controlled environment shaped around class-based divisions. Munawar co-hosts the show with Shreya Kalra. The participants will be divided into three social classes called Royals, Regulars, and Rags, each with different levels of privilege and authority. As the show progresses, contestants will try to rise through the ranks and earn the title of "Asli Baazigar". Munawar said that the show resonates with his personal journey.

In addition to hosting, Munawar made his acting debut in First Copy, a web series that was released on Amazon MiniTV on June 20. The series is set in the 1990s and explores piracy in the Indian cinema. Munawar plays Arif, a clever boy who works with pirated films.

Munawar has also announced his Dhandho comedy tour, which will take him around the world. Furthermore, a video featuring Munawar Faruqui and Pakistani actress Kinza Hashmi sparked speculation about a collaboration between the two. Kinza shared a video on Instagram, and fans expressed their excitement.
