Upon realizing they were on the jumbotron, they quickly attempted to hide their faces, sparking speculation among concertgoers and viewers online. Coldplay's frontman, Chris Martin, even added to the buzz by playfully remarking on stage, "Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy". The video rapidly spread across social media, drawing widespread attention and criticism.

The fallout from the incident was swift and significant. Andy Byron resigned from his position as CEO of Astronomer on July 19. Kristin Cabot also left her role as Head of HR shortly thereafter.
