Kendall Jenner, the 29-year-old model and media personality, is reportedly looking to trade in the runway for a quieter life focused on home design. Jenner, who rose to fame on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," has expressed a desire to leave the entertainment industry and pursue her passion for creating beautiful spaces.

Jenner told Vogue magazine, "I swear to God, I'm going to stop everything and just design homes. I'm not kidding". She further elaborated on her desire for a simpler life, stating, "I love my space in LA, but I also really love the simple life". This announcement signals a potential shift away from the high-profile world of modeling and reality television that Jenner has known for years.

Jenner began modeling at the age of 13 and had breakout seasons in 2014 and 2015, walking the runways for high-fashion designers in New York, Milan, and Paris. She quickly gained widespread attention for her modeling career, and has since walked for Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Alexander Wang, Fendi, and others. She has also covered magazines both in the U.S. and abroad, and signed a contract with Calvin Klein Jeans. In 2017, Forbes named Jenner the world's highest-paid model, surpassing Gisele Bündchen, who had held the top spot since 2002.

Despite her successful modeling career and numerous accolades, Jenner seems drawn to the more grounded and creative field of home design. This wouldn't be entirely out of character for Jenner, who has already demonstrated an interest in interior design with her own Los Angeles home.

In fact, Jenner is currently building a house away from Los Angeles. Her friend, Gigi Hadid, has even stated that she would trust Jenner to design a house for her. This speaks to Jenner's talent and eye for design, further fueling speculation about her future career path.

Jenner's desire for a "simple life" may stem from her experience growing up in the spotlight. Despite being on television from a young age, Jenner believes her childhood was "kind of normal," attending school before switching to homeschooling in her final years. She credits her older siblings and close-knit support system for helping her and her sister Kylie navigate fame without losing a sense of normalcy.

It remains to be seen when Jenner will make the full transition from modeling to home design. For now, she continues to balance her runway work with filming "The Kardashians". However, her recent statements suggest that she is serious about pursuing her passion for design and creating a more low-key lifestyle. As she told Vogue, she enjoys "getting up every morning, throwing on a swimsuit or sweatpants, no make-up, and just being free with my day".
