Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani continue to set couple goals, showcasing their affection and strong bond in the public eye. The duo, who tied the knot in February 2024 in a beautiful Goa destination wedding featuring both Sikh and Sindhi ceremonies, frequently share glimpses of their life together, delighting fans with their adorable chemistry.

Their love story, which began in a rather unexpected way, is often recounted with humor and fondness. Rakul revealed that she first met Jackky during the COVID-19 lockdown while she was on the hunt for vodka. As the story goes, Rakul and her brother, in full PPE kits, ventured to Jackky's home to borrow the coveted bottle, sanitizing everything in sight. Jackky jokingly added that they didn't even invite him to join. This initial interaction, however cautious, sparked a friendship that blossomed over time.

About two weeks later, Rakul and her brother returned to Jackky's place, this time bearing homemade food. This kind gesture laid the foundation for their friendship, which soon evolved into a deeper connection. Rakul and Jackky discovered shared passions, including their dedication to fitness and healthy living. They found that they had similar values and priorities, with family and well-being being paramount for both of them.

Their shared love for fitness was recently recognized when they were awarded the 'Fit India Couple Award' by the Ministry of Ayush. The couple participated in the Fit India Cult Yogathon in Delhi, celebrating International Yoga Day alongside 2,000 other attendees. Rakul expressed her gratitude for the award, noting that fitness is a way of life for her and Jackky and that it's what brought them together. She also emphasized that fitness doesn't need to be complicated, highlighting yoga as an accessible activity for everyone.

Jackky, too, has been open about his fitness journey, sharing his transformation from weighing 150 kg to a much healthier 75 kg. He emphasized the mental clarity that comes with physical change and expressed his motivation from initiatives like 'Sundays on Cycle'.

In a recent interview, Jackky revealed that he waited to propose to Rakul until he was absolutely sure about marrying her, emphasizing his respect and regard for her. He didn't want to risk losing her as a friend over a fling and made the move when he felt the time was right. Rakul, on the other hand, shared a funny anecdote about how she found out they were dating. According to her, after the third lockdown, they moved to Goa with her brother and his cousins. It was then that Jackky told his sister that Rakul was his girlfriend, which is how she discovered their relationship status.

Since their marriage, Rakul and Jackky have spoken about the positive changes they've experienced. Rakul shared that home is where their family and loved ones are, and they both look forward to spending evenings together. Jackky also dismissed the negative stories he had heard about married life, stating that he doesn't feel any different and is enjoying this new chapter.

Rakul was recently seen in the film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, while Jackky's last project as a producer was Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
