Primebook has launched its latest laptops, the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Pro Max, in India, expanding its Generation 2 laptop portfolio. These new models are aimed at students, learners, freelancers, coders, creators, and young professionals, with the goal of making AI-enabled laptops more accessible.
The Primebook 2 Pro is priced at ₹17,990, while the Primebook 2 Pro Max costs ₹19,990. Both laptops are available in a Chill Grey color and can be purchased on Amazon, Flipkart, and Primebook's official website. As a special launch offer, customers who buy from Primebook's official website will receive an extra ₹500 off on all prepaid orders.
Both the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Pro Max run on PrimeOS 3.0, which is based on Android 15. The company says that the software has been designed specifically for laptops and includes multitasking, AI integrations, and support for Android apps. These laptops also offer AI-powered tools like a Google Gemini-powered AI Companion and an AI-powered Global Search.
The Primebook 2 Pro features a 14.1-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display, while the Primebook 2 Pro Max comes with a larger 15.6-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display. Both laptops are powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G99 (MT8781) processor and have 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The Primebook 2 Pro has 128GB of UFS storage, while the Primebook 2 Pro Max has 256GB.
Other features of both laptops include a 1440P camera, dual stereo speakers, dual microphones with noise cancellation, and a backlit keyboard. The Primebook 2 Pro offers up to 14 hours of battery backup, while the Primebook 2 Pro Max offers up to 12 hours. Both models also have several ports, including dual USB-A, USB-C, Type-C fast charging, a 3.5mm audio jack, a MicroSD slot (up to 1TB), and a Kensington Lock. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1.
Chitranshu Mahant, CEO and Co-founder of Primebook, stated that the company noticed a clear gap in the under-₹20,000 laptop segment, as there wasn't a laptop that could truly deliver speed and multitasking at scale. This insight led to the launch of their generation 2 line-up, with the Pro and Max models offering larger displays, faster processors, and higher storage options. Primebook's focus has been on building this experience end-to-end, from the operating system to the hardware, so users get laptops that are powerful, reliable, and within reach.
