Nagpur hotelier Javed Akhtar and his wife, Nadira, tragically died in a road accident in the Tuscany region of Italy on Thursday. The collision involved a mini-bus, and their three children, Arzoo, Zezel, and Shifa, sustained life-threatening injuries.
The family was on a European tour that ended in disaster. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is reportedly working with the Indian embassy to coordinate the repatriation of the deceased and ensure the care of the injured children.
