The Himachal Pradesh government is set to conduct a special overseas recruitment drive on October 9, 2025, at the Government Polytechnic in Hamirpur. This initiative, spearheaded by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, aims to provide international employment opportunities to the state's youth in both technical and non-technical sectors.

The recruitment drive is being organized by the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) in collaboration with the Department of Labour & Employment and the Department of Technical Education. A recruitment agency registered with the Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) will also be involved.

Chief Minister Sukhu has stated the government's commitment to equipping the youth of Himachal Pradesh to be globally competitive and self-reliant. He emphasized that this drive will facilitate employment opportunities abroad across various sectors.

The selection of eligible candidates will be conducted through the MEA-registered agency, ensuring transparency and credibility throughout the recruitment process. The government has encouraged all interested candidates from the state to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in the drive.
