Music composer Ismail Darbar recently shared insights into Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai's past relationship, recalling the emotional turmoil surrounding their highly publicized romance. In an interview with Vickey Lalwani, Darbar spoke about witnessing the couple's intense fights and how it affected those around them.

"The news of their fights was all over the media," Darbar said. "We used to feel bad; they were so close, they shouldn't have been fighting". He also noted that Salman Khan has moved on and doesn't discuss the relationship anymore.

Ad guru Prahlad Kakkar, who lived in the same building as Aishwarya Rai, also claimed to have witnessed the couple's fights firsthand.

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai's relationship remains a much-discussed topic in Bollywood, even decades after their breakup in 2002. The fallout from their separation reportedly had a significant impact on Aishwarya Rai's career, with some filmmakers hesitant to cast her. Darbar also suggested that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's decision to cast Shah Rukh Khan in "Devdas" instead of Salman Khan may have strained his relationship with the latter. Darbar had worked with Bhansali on "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam," starring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai. "My heart tells me that his equation with Salman soured because he hired Shah Rukh for Devdas. Isn't it obvious?" Darbar said. He stated that Salman had previously helped Bhansali by working with him on Khamoshi, even though it flopped.

In the interview, Darbar also talked about his personal life, including his relationships with his two wives and his professional disagreements with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, stating that he would never work with him again. He had been working on Bhansali's Heeramandi series for a year and a half before a misunderstanding led to his departure.
