Since June, the use of Anthropic's AI tools, including Claude Code, has seen a fivefold increase in India. Anthropic plans to enhance Claude's capabilities across multiple Indian languages, with improved Hindi performance already in progress and model training underway for Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, and Urdu. This language support expansion aims to make AI more accessible and relevant to a broader segment of the Indian population.
