India's Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan achieves remarkable feat by securing three Guinness World Records.

India has secured three Guinness World Records under the "Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan" (Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign), marking a significant achievement in the country's focus on preventive and women-centric healthcare. The Union Health Ministry announced this accomplishment on Friday, October 31, 2025, recognizing the nation's commitment to these crucial healthcare areas.

The three Guinness World Records achieved are:

  1. Most people to register for a health care platform in one month: India recorded an astounding 32,149,711 (over 3.21 crore) registrations.
  2. Most people to sign up for a breast cancer screening online in one week: A remarkable 994,349 (over 9.94 lakh) individuals signed up for this critical screening.
  3. Most people to sign up for vital signs screening online in one week (at the state level): The campaign saw 125,406 (over 1.25 lakh) participants register for vital signs screening.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nationwide "Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan" from September 17 to October 2, 2025, coinciding with Poshan Maah. The campaign is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of women, adolescent girls, and children. Its core objectives include strengthening early disease detection, ensuring access to essential health services, and empowering families to embrace healthier lifestyles, ultimately contributing to a stronger and healthier India.

The campaign reached every district nationwide, achieving an unprecedented scale with 1.97 million health camps and over 110 million visits across all healthcare platforms. More than 20 ministries actively participated in the campaign, involving central government institutes, medical colleges, and private organizations. The initiative also saw participation from Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly, and officials from all concerned ministries, making it a "Whole-of-the-Government" endeavor.

Following a "Whole-of-Society" approach, the campaign witnessed remarkable community participation, with over 500,000 Panchayati Raj representatives, 11.4 million school and college students, 9.4 million Self Help Group members, and 500,000 other community platform members involved.

Beyond the record-breaking registrations, the campaign facilitated 17.8 million hypertension screenings, 17.3 million diabetes screenings, 6.95 million oral cancer screenings, and 6.26 million antenatal check-ups. Additionally, 21.4 million people participated in counseling and wellness sessions.

The Union Health Ministry emphasized that this global recognition reflects India's combined strength in digital health innovation, community participation, and government coordination, all contributing to building a "Healthy Woman, Empowered Family, and Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). This achievement underscores India's commitment to prioritizing women's health and leveraging technology and community involvement to create a healthier nation.
