Bigg Boss 19: Ghazal Alagh Reveals 'Childhood Crush' on Salman Khan During Weekend Ka Vaar Appearance
The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar saw entrepreneur Ghazal Alagh of Shark Tank India fame grace the stage, bringing a mix of inspiration and candid confessions. Alagh, known for her wellness brand, engaged in light-hearted banter with host Salman Khan, even revealing that he was her childhood crush.
During her appearance, Alagh opened up about the personal story that led to the creation of her skin-friendly brand. She recounted the challenges she faced as a new mother in 2016 when her elder son, Agastya, suffered from a skin condition. "Every time after getting him a bath, he would cry for an hour. It was because of the ingredients used in the bathing products," Alagh shared. Finding a lack of suitable products with strict regulations like those in the US, she decided to take matters into her own hands, which led to her entrepreneurial venture.
Alagh also interacted with the Bigg Boss 19 contestants, humorously pitching her product to Tanya Mittal. Mittal expressed her admiration for Alagh, acknowledging her as an inspiration and referencing her reported net worth of ₹600 crore. Alagh responded with a witty remark, stating she doesn't even have a lift in her kitchen.
The Weekend Ka Vaar episode wasn't all fun and games; it also featured a double eviction, with Abhishek Bajaj and Neelam Giri leaving the house. Captain Pranit More, who was previously unable to use his power due to illness, was given the opportunity to save one contestant from eviction and chose to save Ashnoor Kaur.
Salman Khan, as host, addressed the contestants' behavior and game strategies. In previous episodes, Khan has been known to give reality checks, expose attention-seeking tactics, and call out contestants for crossing boundaries. For instance, he questioned Amaal Mallik's engagement in the house, asking if he came to Bigg Boss to sleep. He has also been known to support contestants and school them on their actions.
The Bigg Boss 19 season follows the theme of "Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar," giving the housemates more decision-making power than Bigg Boss himself. The show features 16 contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Nehal Chudasama, Baseer Ali, and Tanya Mittal. It streams daily on JioCinema and airs on Colors TV.
