Authorities have located a red Ford EcoSport in Haryana belonging to Umar Nabi, a suspect in the Delhi Red Fort blast, which occurred on November 10, 2025. The vehicle was discovered near Khandawali village in Faridabad.
The Delhi Police issued an alert across all police stations and border checkpoints in the capital to find the red Ford EcoSport, after discovering that the suspects connected to the Hyundai i20, which exploded near the Red Fort, also possessed the Ford EcoSport. The registration details of the car have been shared with police in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to help find the vehicle. Five teams from Delhi Police were deployed to locate the vehicle.
The Ford EcoSport is registered in the name of Dr. Umar Un Nabi. The car's registration number is DL 10 CK 0458. The vehicle was registered in Delhi's Rajouri Garden RTO on November 22, 2017. Investigations suggest Umar used a fake address in Northeast Delhi to purchase the vehicle. According to sources, the police raided that location late at night.

According to officials, Dr. Nabi is believed to have been driving the i20 that exploded. It is suspected that the Ford EcoSport may have been used for reconnaissance activities. Intelligence agencies have warned that the red EcoSport could still contain crucial evidence or explosives.
In connection with the case, the Jammu and Kashmir Police detained a preacher from Mewat in Haryana for alleged links to a terror network operating out of a university in Faridabad. The preacher has been taken to Srinagar for questioning. Delhi Police Special Cell has detained a Faridabad-based car dealer who allegedly facilitated the sale of the Hyundai i20 used in the explosion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited those injured in the Delhi blast at LNJP Hospital. He interacted with the victims and received a briefing from doctors and officials on their condition.
