Mumbai, November 30, 2025 – The Mint All About AI Tech4Good Summit 2025, sponsored by Salesforce, concluded on November 28, 2025, in Mumbai, highlighting the immense potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive positive societal change. The summit, in its second edition, convened industry leaders, technology experts, innovators, and government officials to explore and celebrate AI applications for the greater good, with a specific focus on strengthening communities, promoting inclusion, and addressing critical issues like sustainability, healthcare, education, and financial access.
The event underscored the belief that AI's true power lies not in replacing human capabilities but in augmenting them. Binoy Prabhakar, Chief Content Officer, HT Digital, emphasized this point in his opening address, reminding attendees that AI empowers humans to redefine what is possible. The initiative has experienced substantial growth, evidenced by nearly 300 nominations from India, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, almost triple the number from the previous year.

The summit featured discussions on various topics, including ethical considerations, the development of sovereign AI, and innovative solutions promoting sustainability, healthcare, and education. The awards recognized contributions across six critical areas of social good:
- Empowering people with disabilities: Recognizing technology that enhances accessibility, independence, and overall quality of life for differently-abled populations, including adaptive technologies and tools for early intervention and diagnosis.
- Sustainability: Highlighting solutions that address climate change, promote clean energy adoption, or improve resource management and conservation. This includes AI applications focused.
- Livelihoods: Recognizing AI applications that create economic opportunities, improve job skills, and support entrepreneurship, especially in underserved communities.
- Education: Spotlighting AI tools that personalize learning, expand access to educational resources, and improve educational outcomes.
- Health and Sanitation: Acknowledging AI tools that improve disease detection, expand access to essential healthcare services, or enhance public hygiene. This covers remote diagnostics, personalised treatment plans and infrastructure monitoring to prevent public health crises.
- Agriculture and Food Security: Recognizing AI applications that enhance crop yields, optimize resource utilization, and improve the efficiency of food supply chains.
The All About AI Tech4Good Awards focused on projects demonstrating clear, measurable societal impact, ensuring awarded solutions are practical, scalable, and provide validated evidence of success in addressing complex social issues. The expansion of nominations beyond India to include Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines signifies the growing recognition of AI's potential to address global challenges.
