Nora Fatehi has joined the cast of Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 for a special song sequence. The actress is currently in Chennai, shooting a high-energy dance number for the film. Sources indicate that the song promises to be a major highlight in the highly anticipated sequel.

The song is being choreographed by Jaani, who also choreographed Tamannaah Bhatia's hit song "Kaavaalaa" from the first Jailer film. According to a source close to the project, Nora Fatehi's song will be similar to "Kaavaalaa" but will also feature Vidya Balan and Mithun Chakraborty, in addition to Rajinikanth. Over 60 dancers are participating in the shoot, suggesting that the sequence will be a grand visual spectacle. The makers have reportedly designed Nora's song to be on the same level as Tamannaah Bhatia's hit number Kaavaalaa from the first film.

Jailer 2 is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and is described as an action-comedy filled with entertainment, drama, and spectacular visuals. The movie has been shot extensively across Chennai, Hyderabad, and Goa. The film also stars Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty, Vijay Sethupathi, and Mohanlal, along with cameo appearances by several popular actors.

This film marks Vidya Balan's first full-fledged role in Tamil cinema. Mithun Chakraborty plays Vidya Balan's father in Jailer 2. The film also marks a reunion for Mithun Chakraborty and Rajinikanth, who will be sharing screen space after nearly three decades, their last collaboration being in the Bengali film Bhagya Debata.

Jailer 2 is slated for a theatrical release on June 12, 2026.
