The incident occurred in the 30th over of Uttarakhand's innings. Raghuvanshi, fielding at deep mid-wicket, attempted a diving catch to dismiss a batsman who had launched a slog sweep. In the process of attempting the catch, he reportedly sustained a nasty blow to his head and shoulder. Some reports indicate a neck injury as well.
