In the wake of swirling rumors, actress Krystle D’Souza has addressed speculation about her potential role in the highly anticipated Dhurandhar 2, the sequel to the 2025 spy action thriller. The first installment, Dhurandhar, saw D'Souza sharing screen space with a stellar cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar was a major commercial success, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. The film revolves around an anti-terror covert operation, with an undercover agent infiltrating Karachi's criminal and political underworl. The sequel, Dhurandhar Part 2, is slated to release on March 19, 2026.

D’Souza, who featured in the song "Shararat" alongside Ayesha Khan in Dhurandhar, recently spoke about her experience working with Ranveer Singh. She praised Singh for his support and encouragement during the song launch, stating that he ensured she remained the center of attention. According to D'Souza, Singh's actions created a new level of respect for him. "It is so big of him and so you know caring, you know, you see a different side of a person where they want you to shine," she said.

While D’Souza has expressed her admiration for Singh and the Dhurandhar team, she has remained tight-lipped about whether she will be a part of Dhurandhar 2. The cast of Dhurandhar 2 is expected to include Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. The plot will reportedly pick up from the cliffhanger ending of the first film, with Singh's character, Hamza Ali Mazar, revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover operative from India on a covert mission in Pakistan.

The storyline of Dhurandhar 2 will delve deeper into Hamza's character and his backstory, exploring how Jaskirat became Hamza and led "Mission Dhurandhar". Hamza's next target is Bade Sahab aka Iqbal, the mastermind behind several terrorist attacks on India.

Adding to the anticipation, there are reports that Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights for both Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 for a combined ₹130 crore. Dhurandhar is expected to be available on Netflix by January 30, 2026, though this has not been officially confirmed.

As for Krystle D’Souza, while her potential role in Dhurandhar 2 remains a mystery, she is currently involved in other projects, including a lead role as a police officer in the upcoming project Jaageer.
