Dhurandhar 2: Censor Board Certifies Revenge Teaser; Know the Official Runtime Details Now

The teaser for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has received its censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The teaser has been granted an 'A' (Adults Only) certificate, indicating its gritty and high-octane content. The runtime for the teaser is confirmed to be 1 minute and 48 seconds (108 seconds).

To maximize visibility, the makers of Dhurandhar 2 have decided to attach the teaser to the theatrical prints of the highly anticipated film Border 2. This cross-promotion strategy aims to capitalize on the overlapping audience base for both high-scale action films. Border 2 is scheduled to release in theaters on January 23rd, and audiences will be able to view the Dhurandhar 2 teaser at that time.

Dhurandhar, the first installment, was directed by Aditya Dhar and starred Ranveer Singh, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan. The film was a commercial success, earning All Time Blockbuster status with a worldwide gross of ₹1283.5 crore. Domestically, the film has garnered ₹825.1 crore in India Net collection (₹989.9 crore gross), and it continues to perform well in international markets with ₹293.6 crore in overseas collections. Some sources state slightly different figures for the original film's collection.

Dhurandhar 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with EID. Arjun Rampal's character, Major Iqbal, is expected to play a more significant role in the sequel. The narrative will also delve into the mysterious "Bade Sahab," a shadowy mastermind who was teased in the first film. The official casting for this character is currently being kept under wraps.

The first film, Dhurandhar, received an 'A' certificate from the CBFC and has a runtime of 3 hours and 34 minutes. The CBFC had suggested some modifications to the film, including adding a Hindi voiceover to the disclaimer and including anti-drug and smoking warnings in certain scenes.
