Redmi Note 15 Pro Series India Launch: Leaked Specifications and Expected Features Revealed Before Release.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is generating buzz in India, with leaks revealing key specifications ahead of its expected launch on January 27. The series, comprised of the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+, promises significant upgrades over its predecessors, focusing on enhanced displays, powerful chipsets, and impressive camera capabilities.

Both models are tipped to feature a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and responsiveness. The displays are also expected to boast up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness (3,200 nits as per one source), HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support for vibrant colors and excellent outdoor visibility, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for enhanced durability.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro may come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. These chipsets should deliver smooth performance for everyday tasks and gaming. Both phones will run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The phones promise up to 4 major OS updates and extended security support.

A significant highlight of the Redmi Note 15 Pro series is the camera system. Both the Pro and Pro+ models are expected to feature a 200MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The Pro+ is rumored to have a 32MP front camera, while the Pro may feature a 20MP selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is said to house a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro may feature a slightly larger 6,580mAh battery with 45W charging. Both models are also tipped to have strong dust and water resistance, with ratings up to IP69. Other expected features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and multiple safety certifications.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

The global prices for the Pro+ are expected to start around USD 449 (approximately Rs 41,000), while the Pro may begin at USD 399 (approximately Rs 36,000). In India, the phones are expected to be priced slightly higher than last year's models, potentially starting between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 for the base variants. The devices will likely be available in Xiaomi stores, Flipkart, and Amazon shortly after launch.
