Veteran actor Jackie Shroff has recently expressed his strong desire to share screen space with his son, Tiger Shroff, revealing that they are both eagerly waiting for the right opportunity. The father-son duo, though part of Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' released in 2024, did not share any scenes together, fueling Jackie's wish to collaborate in a more significant way.
In a recent interview with ANI, Jackie Shroff spoke about his longing to work alongside his son, mentioning that Tiger also shares the same enthusiasm. "I want it to happen very soon. I hope someone will come up with a subject that will bring us both together. I am waiting for it. Tiger also wants to work with me. He said 'Daddy, we must work together. It will be fun,'" Jackie revealed.
The desire to see the Shroffs together on screen is not new. In the past, there have been speculations and discussions about potential projects that could unite them. In 2020, they were both part of 'Baaghi 3,' where Jackie played the on-screen father to Tiger and Riteish Deshmukh's characters, but this was more of a cameo appearance. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala acknowledged the long-standing anticipation of fans to see Jackie and Tiger together. He noted that both actors were selective and wanted to ensure that the film and their roles justified their presence.
Jackie Shroff, who has had a successful career spanning four decades, was recently seen in the 2025 film 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri' alongside Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. The film, presented by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, was released on December 25, 2025.
Tiger Shroff, known for his action films, starred in 'Baaghi 4' in 2025, an action sequel directed by A. Harsha. He also appeared in 'Singham Again' in 2024 and has several other projects lined up, including 'Lag Jaa Gale' and 'Rambo,' both slated for 2026. However, after initial success with action films like 'Baaghi' and 'War', Tiger has faced a career decline in recent years, with films like 'Heropanti 2', 'Ganapath' and 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' not performing well at the box office.
For now, fans and Jackie Shroff alike, can only wait for the perfect script to materialize and bring this father-son duo together in a film that does justice to their individual talents and their unique bond.
