Albinder Dhindsa is poised to become the new Group CEO of Eternal, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, effective February 1, 2026. This transition marks a significant shift in leadership for the Indian technology company, as Deepinder Goyal, the founder of Zomato, steps down from the CEO role after 18 years. Goyal will transition to the role of Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors, subject to shareholder approval, to pursue new ventures outside Eternal's core business.
Dhindsa's appointment signals a continued emphasis on operational efficiency and growth within Eternal's existing business lines. Goyal has expressed confidence in Dhindsa's capabilities, highlighting his "battle-hardened founder DNA" and proven execution abilities. As Group CEO, Dhindsa will be responsible for day-to-day execution, operating priorities, and business decisions.
