In a surprising turn of events, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has declared that he is "already married" to his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, in his heart. This statement comes amidst reports that the couple has moved into a new residence together in Mumbai. Khan made the relationship official with Spratt in March of last year, coinciding with his 60th birthday.

During an interaction with the media, Khan revealed that he and Spratt had known each other for over two decades before reconnecting. He explained that their reconnection happened organically about a year and a half ago. The couple has since been seen together at various events.

While confirming the seriousness of his relationship with Gauri, Aamir clarified that a formal marriage is not immediately on the cards. He stated that he feels deeply committed to Gauri and considers himself married to her emotionally, but whether they formalize the union is a decision he will make in the future. He said, "Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. And we are, you know, we are partners. We are together. Marriage is something, I mean, in my heart, I'm already married to her. So whether we formalise it or not is something that, you know, I will decide as we go along".

Gauri Spratt, who has a background in fashion and the arts and has a six-year-old son, is now professionally associated with Aamir's production house. Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, with whom he has children.

In other news, Rani Kapur, the mother of late industrialist Sunjay Kapur, has filed a suit in the Delhi High Court against her daughter-in-law Priya Kapur and Karisma Kapoor's children. The suit alleges that they orchestrated a "fraudulent family trust" to unlawfully strip her of her estate. Rani Kapur, 80, claims that the "RK Family Trust/Rani Kapur Family Trust" is fraudulent and that her estate and family legacy were illegally diverted into the trust without her knowledge or consent. She alleges the fraud was discovered after her son's death in June 2025.

The suit names 23 defendants, including Priya Kapur, her son Azarias Kapur, Karisma Kapoor's children Samaira and Kiaan Kapur, and Rani Kapur's daughter Mandhira Kapur Smith and her two children. Rani Kapur claims to be the sole beneficiary and legatee of her late husband Dr. Surinder Kapur's estate. She seeks a declaration that the trust deed dated October 26, 2017, is illegal and void, and she seeks the trust's dissolution, asset restitution, and a permanent injunction against the defendants. The dispute concerns the inheritance of Sunjay Kapur's estate, estimated to be worth ₹30,000 crore, and a stake in auto component maker Sona Comstar. Rani Kapur alleges that after she suffered a stroke in 2017, her late son Sunjay Kapur and his third wife, Priya Kapur, exploited her physical dependence and trust to orchestrate a complex scheme transferring all her assets into the RK Family Trust without her informed consent.
