Veteran Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is reportedly set to collaborate with actress Jyothika in an upcoming action thriller. This collaboration marks a significant moment, bringing together two popular stars from different cinematic backgrounds.

"Border 2" has already made a splash, earning over Rs 70 crore at the domestic box office within two days of its release. The film, directed by Anurag Singh, also stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.

In addition to this project with Excel Entertainment, Sunny Deol is also reportedly making his OTT debut with a Netflix action thriller. This film is said to be an official remake of the 2007 Hollywood movie "Death Sentence," starring Kevin Bacon. Siddharth P Malhotra is directing the Netflix film, with Suparn Verma adapting the script for Hindi audiences. The film is expected to be available on Netflix in 2026, with Deol having allocated significant dates for the shoot which was expected to begin in July 2025.
