BLACKPINK's Rosé is poised to make history as the first K-pop soloist to perform at the prestigious Grammy Awards. The Recording Academy officially announced on January 29th that Rosé will grace the stage at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 1st. The show will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+.

This milestone comes during a monumental year for the 28-year-old singer, who is also nominated for three Grammy Awards for her collaboration with Bruno Mars, "APT.". The song is a contender for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Rosé shared her excitement on Instagram, expressing disbelief and gratitude. She thanked the Recording Academy and acknowledged the significance of the moment for herself and others. Fans worldwide have flooded social media with celebratory messages, eagerly anticipating her performance.

Prior to this performance, the only K-pop act to perform on the Grammys stage was BTS back in 2020. Rosé's performance marks a defining moment for K-pop's increasing global presence.

Rosé's "APT." has already garnered significant recognition, including an MTV Video Music Award for Song of the Year. The track also earned Rosé Guinness World Records, including recognition as the first K-pop act to be nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Additional Guinness World Records were awarded for being the first K-pop artist to reach number one on Apple Music's Global chart, the first female K-pop artist to enter the Billboard Radio Songs top 10, and for achieving the fastest K-pop track to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. Her album "Rosie" also secured a Guinness World Record as the highest-charting album on the US albums chart by a female K-pop artist, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200.

Rosé's performance at the Grammy Museum in December 2025 offered a glimpse into her artistry. During the performance at the intimate Clive Davis Theater, Rosé played a few songs that she's written and also prepared some covers.
