Shashwat Sachdev, the composer of the song "Shararat" from the movie Dhurandhar, has revealed that the song comes from a very personal place. Dhurandhar, a Hindi-language spy action thriller film, was released on December 5, 2025. Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande, the film features an ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R. Madhavan. The movie revolves around an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi's criminal and political circles to dismantle a terror network targeting India.

"Shararat," a track from the film's soundtrack, is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with lyrics by Jasmine Sandlas and Shashwat Sachdev. The song features vocals by Shashwat Sachdev, Madhubanti Bagchi, and Jasmine Sandlas.

Sachdev's recent statement highlights the personal connection he feels to "Shararat."
