Sharon Osbourne's Grammy Shoe Rebellion: Yungblud Seizes the Spotlight After Her Barefoot Exit.

The 68th Grammy Awards saw a blend of heartfelt tributes and unexpected moments, but one of the most talked-about highlights was undoubtedly Sharon Osbourne's appearance alongside Yungblud, culminating in a celebratory moment that the rocker "stole". The evening, broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, was filled with memorable performances and emotional acceptance speeches.

The British rocker Yungblud, born Dominic Richard Harrison, took home his first Grammy for Best Rock Performance for his rendition of Black Sabbath's "Changes," performed at Ozzy Osbourne's final show, the "Back to the Beginning" concert in Birmingham this past summer. The 28-year-old dedicated the win to his long-time idol, the late Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July 2025.

Yungblud's connection to the Osbourne family runs deep. He revealed that he spent the night before the Grammys with Sharon Osbourne, lighting a candle in honor of Ozzy. "It's pretty mental. It's amazing to be here... It all goes to Ozzy tonight," he shared with E! News.

Sharon Osbourne, who recently lost her husband Ozzy Osbourne, added to the emotional weight of the evening. The pair posed for cameras on the red carpet, with Sharon later kicking off her heels. Yungblud then brought Sharon onstage to share the win, celebrating Ozzy's legacy. Alongside Sharon on stage were Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman, and Nuno Bettencourt.

During his acceptance speech, Yungblud expressed his gratitude to Ozzy Osbourne for shaping his identity as both a musician and a man. "To grow up loving an idol who helps you figure out your identity, not only as a musician but as a man, is something I'm truly grateful for," he said. He also acknowledged the surreal experience of forming a relationship with his hero and honoring him at his final show. Yungblud made sure to thank Sharon, Jack, Kelly, and Aimee Osbourne for the opportunity to honor Ozzy.

Yungblud didn't hold back expressing his love for rock music and its future. "Rock music is coming back," he declared. "Watch out pop music, we're gonna f***in get ya!".

While Yungblud's "Changes" earned him the Best Rock Performance Grammy, he was also nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album. However, Nine Inch Nails won Best Rock Song for "As Alive As You Need Me to Be". Deftones won Best Rock Album for "Private Music".
