Kiyomizu-dera Temple is one of Japan's most iconic and sacred temples. It was founded in 778 AD by Sakanoue no Tamuramaro and is dedicated to the goddess of mercy and compassion, Kannon Bosatsu. The temple complex is situated on a hillside, offering stunning views of Kyoto. Over the centuries, the temple has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, with the current structures dating back to the 17th century. From the main hall of the temple, one can enjoy some breathtaking views, no matter the season.

The family also explored other scenic spots during their vacation, posing for photos that captured their vacation memories. Soha, Kunal, and Inaaya enjoyed the local cuisine and immersed themselves in the Japanese culture.

Notably, Soha, Kunal, and Inaaya were joined on their trip by fellow Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa. The two couples, known for their close friendship, have been seen vacationing together before, including ringing in the New Year 2025 together and a holiday in Europe in September 2023. The actors shared moments from their vacation on social media, with Mount Fuji in the backdrop.

The trip occurred after Soha's brother, Saif Ali Khan, was injured during a burglary attempt.
