Lamborghini Crash Aftermath: CCTV Captures Driver's Bodyguards Rushing to the Scene to Assist Him.

Kanpur, India – A recent Lamborghini crash in Kanpur has sparked controversy, with new CCTV footage emerging that shows the driver's bouncers rushing to extract him from the vehicle after the accident. The incident, which occurred on VIP Road near Rev-3 Mall around 3:15 pm on Sunday, involved a speeding Lamborghini Revuelto that collided with pedestrians and several vehicles, resulting in injuries to at least six people.

The driver has been identified as Shivam Mishra, son of KK Mishra, a prominent tobacco merchant. Following the crash, CCTV footage shows bouncers emerging from a black SUV and running towards the Lamborghini to pull Shivam Mishra out of the car.

Eyewitnesses at the scene allege that the bouncers accompanying Mishra attempted to disperse the crowd aggressively, further escalating tensions. Police arrived at the scene to rescue the driver and transport the injured to a private hospital. Angry locals gathered around the car, preventing the driver from leaving before the police arrived.

Conflicting reports have emerged regarding who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. While eyewitness accounts and initial police reports identified Shivam Mishra as the driver, Mishra's lawyer has claimed that his client was not behind the wheel, stating that the car was being driven by Mishra's driver, named Mohan. The lawyer stated that because Shivam Mishra was not driving, there can be no case against him.

Adding another layer to the situation, Shivam Mishra's family members have claimed that he suffered a seizure while driving, which led to the accident. Authorities are investigating whether Mishra has a history of seizures or any other medical condition that may have contributed to the crash. Shivam Mishra will undergo a medical examination to determine if a medical condition played a role in the incident.

The Lamborghini, worth an estimated ₹10 crore (approximately $1.2 million USD), has been seized and sent for mechanical inspection. Police are also reviewing CCTV footage from nearby shops, traffic intersections, and residential buildings to reconstruct the events and determine the vehicle's speed at the time of the crash.

The incident has drawn criticism and allegations of police delay, with no arrests made in the 48 hours following the crash. An initial FIR was registered against an "unidentified driver", but Shivam Mishra's name was later added to the investigation. One local inspector was removed from his post for allegedly attempting to shield Shivam Mishra. The FIR was registered under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, including Sections 281, 125(a), 125(b), and 324(4).

The accident has left several injured, including Taufiq, who suffered serious leg injuries after being thrown several meters. Other victims sustained fractures and bruises.

Shivam Mishra is under close surveillance to prevent any attempt to evade the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
