Vivo has officially confirmed that the V70 series will launch in India on February 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. The phones will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo's official online store.
Design and Display
Both the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite sport a modern design with a square-shaped rear camera module. They feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aiming to deliver vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. The displays are expected to have ultra-thin 1.25mm bezels and a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. The series also boasts an aluminum alloy frame and IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance for enhanced durability.
Performance
A key differentiator between the two models is the processor. The Vivo V70 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Vivo V70 Elite will feature the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The "Elite" model marks the first time a V-series phone incorporates a Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Both phones are expected to come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster data processing.
Camera
Vivo continues its partnership with Zeiss to deliver advanced camera capabilities in the V70 series. The rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens, and an ultrawide camera. According to leaks, the Vivo V70 is expected to start at Rs 45,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model, while the Vivo V70 Elite may start at Rs 51,999 for the same configuration.
