Uttarakhand Weather Updates
A red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued for several districts in Uttarakhand, including Dehradun, Tehri Garhwal, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, and Uttarkashi. The IMD also forecasts extremely heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning in several other districts. Schools have been closed in many areas, and warnings are in place through September 7. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the next 24-48 hours would be "crucial". People whose houses were affected by the rain are being relocated to safer areas. The administration has urged people living near riverbanks to exercise caution due to rising water levels.
Himachal Pradesh Weather Updates

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's scheduled visit to Kullu has been cancelled due to the deteriorating weather conditions. Several other stretches, including Bahang, SASE, Solang Nala–Atal Tunnel Road, Volvo Bus Stand, and Green Tax Barrier, are blocked due to shooting stones and landslides. The weather office has issued a red alert, warning of extremely heavy rain in isolated areas in six districts until Tuesday.
