Araria's Jogbani is poised to gain prominence on the Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat map, marking a significant development for the region. This achievement is largely attributed to the persistent efforts of local Member of Parliament (MP) Pradeep Kumar Singh, whose advocacy has led to the realization of this long-awaited project.

The decision to extend the Vande Bharat Express service to Jogbani, a town bordering Nepal, is expected to provide a substantial boost to connectivity and economic growth in the Seemanchal region. Initially, there were plans to operate the Vande Bharat Express from Purnia to Patna, but a subsequent change in plans has designated Jogbani as the originating station. This alteration is poised to benefit passengers from Purnia, Araria, Forbesganj, and the entire Seemanchal area.

The formal announcement of the Vande Bharat train operation from Jogbani to Patna is expected to be made by Prime Minister Modi on September 15th during his visit to Purnia. This announcement is highly anticipated by the people of Araria district. Besides the Vande Bharat announcement, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate the Purnia Airport and lay the foundation stone for the Araria-Galgalia new rail line.

The introduction of the Vande Bharat Express is predicted to significantly reduce travel time and offer a comfortable and efficient mode of transportation for students, patients, and business travelers in the Seemanchal region. The train is expected to run at a speed of 150-160 kmph.

In addition to the Vande Bharat Express, railway authorities are also focusing on infrastructure development at the Jogbani station. The construction of a pit line is underway, which will enable more trains to originate from the Jogbani station upon completion.

The inclusion of Jogbani in the Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat scheme is being hailed as a major achievement for the region, with expectations of improved connectivity, economic development, and enhanced opportunities for the local population.
