The series follows Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), an ambitious outsider chasing his Bollywood dreams. Supported by his loyal friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), clever manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and family, Aasmaan steps into the glamorous but tough world of Bollywood. He soon realizes that fame comes with challenges, where ambition often meets ego. His biggest test comes when he crosses paths with superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol) after being cast opposite Ajay's daughter, debutante Karishma (Sahher Bambba). The story also includes a cunning producer, Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari), and Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi), a former star desperate for a comeback, creating a sharp, self-aware tale set in the world of Hindi cinema.

"The Bads of Bollywood" is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in collaboration with Netflix. The series explores Bollywood's inner workings, dynasties, and outsider struggles. Aryan Khan's creative vision brings together glamour, chaos, and intense ambition, focusing on an outsider and his friends as they struggle to break into the film industry. With a mix of humor, drama, and unexpected twists, "The Bads of Bollywood" explores the challenges, dreams, and sacrifices involved in chasing fame.

The series is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18th.
