The event, held at NMACC, was a star-studded affair, marking a significant moment for Aryan Khan as he steps into the world of filmmaking.

"The Ba***ds of Bollywood" marks Aryan Khan's first venture as a creator and director. The series offers a fresh and bold perspective on the Hindi film industry, delving into the glamorous yet chaotic world behind the scenes. The series features Lakshya, known for "Kill," and Bobby Deol in lead roles, with Saher Bamba and Raghav Juyal playing important supporting characters.

Alia Bhatt has already expressed her excitement for the series, sharing the trailer on her Instagram stories and writing, "Literally counting days till this one drops". Varun Dhawan also shared his anticipation, commenting, "This looks like a wild ride… cant wait to watch".

The series will feature a sea of cameos, beginning with the three Khans — Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salmaan — in addition to other top names in the Indian film industry such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, SS Rajamouli, Karan Johar, and a lot more.

The series follows Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), an ambitious outsider chasing his Bollywood dreams. Supported by his loyal friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), clever manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and family, Aasmaan steps into the glamorous but tough world of Bollywood. He soon realizes that fame comes with challenges, where ambition often meets ego. His biggest test comes when he crosses paths with superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol) after being cast opposite Ajay's daughter, debutante Karishma (Sahher Bambba). The story also includes a cunning producer, Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari), and Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi), a former star desperate for a comeback, creating a sharp, self-aware tale set in the world of Hindi cinema.

"The Bads of Bollywood" is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in collaboration with Netflix. The series explores Bollywood's inner workings, dynasties, and outsider struggles. Aryan Khan's creative vision brings together glamour, chaos, and intense ambition, focusing on an outsider and his friends as they struggle to break into the film industry. The series is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18th.
