Abhinav Kashyap, the director of the 2010 film "Dabangg," has once again made headlines with his scathing remarks against actor Salman Khan and his family. In a recent interview, Kashyap didn't hold back, branding Khan a "criminal" and claiming that it's "written in [the] actor's destiny" that he will lick their boots. This is not the first time Kashyap has publicly criticized Khan and his family, and these recent statements have reignited their long-standing feud.

Kashyap's allegations are wide-ranging. He has accused Salman Khan and his family of sabotaging his career and bullying him. He has also called Khan a "gunda" (goon), "badtameez" (ill-mannered), and "ganda insaan" (bad person), stating that the actor has no real interest in acting and instead relies on his celebrity status. Furthermore, Kashyap has claimed that Khan needed an image makeover before "Dabangg," as previous roles had typecast him negatively. According to Kashyap, films like "Wanted" and "Tere Naam" had given Khan the reputation of being a "chhichhora" and a "mawali". Kashyap also accused Salman Khan of faking his body through injections. He stated that Salman relies on injections to maintain his body. He further mocked the actor, calling him "thul-thul' and 'fugga'".

The Khan family has responded to Kashyap's allegations. Arbaaz Khan stated that the family has initiated legal action against Kashyap. Salim Khan sarcastically remarked that they must have ruined Kashyap's career and suggested Kashyap should watch his films before making such claims.

Kashyap's career in the film industry includes writing the script for "Jung" (2000) and working as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam for "Yuva" (2004). He also wrote dialogues for "Manorama Six Feet Under" (2007) and "13B" (2009). His directorial debut, "Dabangg," was a commercial success, marking Salman Khan's return to acting films and the debut of Sonakshi Sinha. However, Kashyap did not return to direct the sequel, and the relationship between him and the Khan family has since deteriorated. His second film, "Besharam," was released in 2013.

Some have pointed out a contradiction in Kashyap's stance, as an old video has resurfaced showing him celebrating the success of "Dabangg" with Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan. This has led some to label him a "hypocrite". Others in the film industry have also weighed in on the controversy, with the writer of "Battle of Galwan" calling Kashyap's criticism a "desperate attempt at relevance".

The ongoing feud between Abhinav Kashyap and Salman Khan continues to generate buzz in the media and among fans. While Kashyap remains firm in his accusations, the Khan family has chosen to respond through legal means and sarcastic remarks.
