Bollywood actress Amrita Puri and her family have recently purchased a luxurious apartment in one of India's tallest buildings, Lodha World Towers, located in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai. The apartment, reportedly costing ₹37 crore, is situated on the 49th floor and spans an impressive 5,446 square feet. Property registration documents indicate the transaction was finalized on April 30, 2025, with a stamp duty of ₹2.22 crore and registration fees of ₹30,000. The purchase also includes the rights to four parking spaces.

Lodha World Towers, developed by Macrotech Developers (Lodha Group), is renowned as one of India's tallest residential complexes. The complex includes World One and World View towers, which stand at over 73 floors with heights of 277.6 meters (911 feet) and 280.2 meters (919 feet) respectively. However, Palais Royale is considered the tallest building in Mumbai, standing at 320 meters (1,050 feet) with 88 floors. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

Lower Parel has become a prime location for Mumbai's elite, offering excellent connectivity to major business districts like Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Nariman Point. The area is characterized by premium residential towers, upscale retail options, and a vibrant nightlife. The average property price in Lower Parel is ₹43,378 per sq ft, with a year-on-year rise of 13.87% in recent years. Other celebrities and business leaders, including Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, writer Amish Tripathi, and sports icon Zaheer Khan, have also invested in properties in Lower Parel.

Amrita Puri, known for her roles in movies like "Aisha," "Kai Po Che!", and the web series "Four More Shots Please!", comes from a family with a strong background in both the creative and corporate sectors. She is the daughter of Aditya Puri, the former Managing Director of HDFC Bank.

Mumbai's real estate market has been active recently, with several high-profile transactions involving Bollywood stars. Akshay Kumar has sold multiple properties in Mumbai since January 2025, generating over ₹103 crore. Suniel Shetty and his son-in-law, KL Rahul, jointly acquired a seven-acre land parcel in Thane West for ₹9.85 crore. Kajol also purchased a commercial space in Goregaon West for ₹28.78 crore. These transactions highlight the strong and growing luxury real estate market in Mumbai.
