Mariam Solaimankhil, a member of the Afghan Parliament currently in exile, has recently voiced strong opinions regarding Pakistan's role in regional affairs, particularly its relationship with Afghanistan and its perception on the global stage. In an interview, she described Pakistan as a "ticking time bomb" held together by force rather than consent, highlighting the country's internal instability and its broader implications for the region.

Solaimankhil emphasized that Pakistan consistently attempts to manipulate its image and deflect from its internal issues and regional policies. She argued that Pakistan's actions often contradict its rhetoric, particularly concerning its involvement in Afghanistan.

Adding to this, Solaimankhil pointed out the growing unrest within Pakistan's borders, with various ethnic groups expressing their grievances. She noted that movements like the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) continue to organize mass resistance despite facing media blackouts and repression. These movements, she believes, pose a significant challenge to the Pakistani state. She also raised concerns about human rights abuses, including enforced disappearances and organ harvesting, allegedly occurring within Pakistan. These actions, she asserted, fuel further resentment and resistance against the government.

Solaimankhil's statements come amidst heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, particularly in the wake of "Operation Sindoor". The operation has further strained relations, with both sides engaging in accusations and counter-accusations. Pakistani has also declared a staff member of the Indian High Commission as "persona non grata". These events underscore the complex and volatile nature of the relationship between the two countries.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to a forward air force base in Punjab, near the Pakistani border, sent a strong message about India's capabilities and readiness. Standing in front of the advanced S-400 air defense system, PM Modi indirectly addressed Pakistan's claims of downing the system, exposing what he suggested were blatant lies.

Solaimankhil's perspective offers a critical view of Pakistan's internal dynamics and its impact on regional stability. Her concerns about human rights abuses, ethnic tensions, and the potential for state collapse highlight the urgent need for reforms and a more inclusive approach to governance within Pakistan. Her insights also shed light on the challenges facing Afghanistan and the broader region, emphasizing the importance of addressing the root causes of instability and conflict.
