Hrithik Roshan reprises his role as Agent Kabir, showcasing a more ruthless and formidable version of the character. Ayan Mukerji directs "War 2," marking his first collaboration with Hrithik Roshan and a departure from his previous Dharma Productions ventures. The film is scheduled to release on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

A set of an aircraft interior and exterior were created in Vile Parle. Roshan has alloted 100 days for the project with filming expected to be completed by June. In September 2024, a romantic track featuring Roshan and Advani was shot in Venice, Lake Como, and Amalfi Coast in Italy.
