Srinagar is set to welcome a new landmark with the planned construction of a Sai Mandir complex. The Srinagar Kashmir Sewa Sangh (KSS) is partnering with Sai Mandir Sansthan to bring this vision to life. The complex aims to be more than just a place of worship, with plans including a dharamshala, a health center, a library, a meditation center, and a gymnasium.
Firdous Baba, the chief of KSS, emphasized the organization's dedication to serving the region and promoting inclusivity. He stated that the Sai Mandir complex would be open to people of all faiths. The KSS has been active in Kashmir for over four years and views this project as a significant contribution to the community. Baba underscored the importance of national unity, stating that the nation comes first, followed by religion.
The location for the Sai Mandir complex is still being finalized, with several individuals offering to donate land for the project. Once complete, the complex will offer various resources and services to the local population, thereby fostering community engagement and well-being. In addition to serving as a place of worship, the inclusion of a dharamshala will provide accommodation for travelers and pilgrims, while the health center will address the healthcare needs of the community. The library will offer educational resources, and the meditation center and gymnasium will promote mental and physical wellness.
