Recent rumors have been swirling about Allu Arjun potentially replacing Ranveer Singh in the highly anticipated film adaptation of the iconic Indian superhero television series, Shaktimaan. However, director Basil Joseph has firmly dismissed these speculations.

Shaktimaan, the beloved superhero series that originally aired on Doordarshan in 1997, starring Mukesh Khanna, has been in development as a film adaptation for several years. Basil Joseph, known for directing the critically acclaimed Malayalam superhero film "Minnal Murali," was brought on board to direct this ambitious project. Initially, Ranveer Singh was the top choice for the lead role, and his name has been associated with the project for quite some time.

However, recent reports suggested that Allu Arjun might step into the shoes of Shaktimaan, causing a stir among fans. To clarify the situation, Basil Joseph addressed the rumors in an exclusive interview. He stated unequivocally that Shaktimaan will be made only with Ranveer Singh, putting an end to all the speculation.

According to sources close to the project, the rumors of Allu Arjun's involvement were unfounded and potentially driven by the "overzealous PR machinery" often associated with certain stars. Basil Joseph himself confirmed, "Shaktimaan will be made only with Ranveer Singh." This statement reaffirms the director's commitment to Singh and dismisses any suggestions of a change in casting.

Ranveer Singh's fans are eagerly anticipating his portrayal of the iconic superhero. Meanwhile, Singh is also awaiting the release of "Dhurandhar," a spy thriller inspired by true events from Ajit Doval's time as India's National Security Advisor. The film features a star-studded cast, including R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, and is directed by Aditya Dhar.

With Basil Joseph's confirmation that Ranveer Singh remains the sole choice for Shaktimaan, the focus shifts back to the preparations for bringing this beloved superhero to the big screen. While specific production details and additional casting information are yet to be officially announced, fans can rest assured that Ranveer Singh will be the one donning the iconic red and gold suit.
