The accident occurred at approximately 8:00 AM in Savana Society, located in Sector 86. The victim, identified as Kulwant Singh, a retired manager from the State Bank of India, was tending to potted plants on a skywalk when a slab beneath him gave way, leading to his fatal fall.

Kulwant Singh resided in the T-8 Tower with his wife and son. He was known for his routine of caring for the plants placed on the skywalk, a structure intended to connect one tower to another. However, reports indicate that the skywalk had been in a dilapidated condition for some time.
