The trailer launch of Son of Sardaar 2 in Mumbai became a heartfelt tribute to the late actor Mukul Dev, who passed away last month. The film marks Dev's final on-screen appearance. Kishan expressed that Mukul Dev was very excited about the film. He touchingly said, "Wherever you are, Mukul, we love you and we miss you... And I would request you all to actually watch this film for Mukul. He was an incredible actor, and today we all are missing him". Kubra Sait, another cast member, fondly remembered Mukul Dev as an old friend and the first to arrive on set. She recalled how she and the director, Vijay Arora, would tease him about his punctuality, highlighting the camaraderie they shared. Sait expressed that they all truly miss him.

Son of Sardaar 2 is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. The film features Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, and Ravi Kishan in leading roles. The trailer opens with the question, "Will he survive Scotland?", hinting at a fish-out-of-water comedy with a cultural twist. This time, the action-comedy moves from Punjab to Scotland. The trailer teases slapstick humor and quirky characters. Ajay Devgn's character seems to channel Sunny Deol from Border in a sequence that is both a homage and a parody. Ravi Kishan provides comic relief by humorously "mangling" the English language. The ensemble cast includes Sanjay Mishra, Vindu Dara Singh, Dolly Ahluwalia, and Neeru Bajwa.

Fans have already begun paying tribute to Mukul Dev after the trailer's release. Many have noted his final appearance in the film, expressing their love and remembrance of his character, Tony.
