"Mayasabha," a Telugu political web series starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Chaitanya Rao, is set to premiere on SonyLIV on August 7, 2025. The series is set in the politically charged landscape of 1990s Andhra Pradesh. SonyLIV made the announcement on its social media platforms and also released a teaser offering a glimpse into the show’s intense political drama.

The series is inspired by real political events and figures, and it explores the rivalry between two political giants. It is speculated that the series reflects the tensions between former Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu and the late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. "Mayasabha" showcases their journey from being close friends to becoming political rivals, each carving their own path in the history of Andhra Pradesh politics.

Aadhi Pinisetty plays Kakarla Krishnama Naidu, and Chaitanya Rao plays MS Rami Reddy. The show also features Divya Dutta as Iravati Basu, along with Sai Kumar, Srikanth Iyengar, Nassar, Ravindra Vijay, Shatru, and Tanya Ravichandran in pivotal roles. "Mayasabha" marks the OTT debut of director Deva Katta, known for his critically acclaimed films like "Prasthanam" and "Autonagar Surya".

The teaser begins with a voiceover stating that the Chief Minister is expelling 35 MLAs from his party. It then delves into the journeys of Naidu and Reddy, two friends who become bitter rivals after a series of unexpected events. It also features sharp dialogues and tense showdowns. The series is produced by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni and Sree Harsha under the banner of Hitmen & Proodos Productions LLP. "Mayasabha: The Rise of the Titans" will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.
