In a recent interview, Roshni Walia opened up about her parents' separation for the first time. She disclosed that her parents are divorced and lead separate lives. She expressed that she is happy and respectful of their individual choices. Roshni emphasized the strong bond she shares with her mother, who has been her constant support through difficult times. "But I want to just say that during my tough days my mother supported me the most and we stood by her. This is our family," Roshni stated.
The actress also revealed that she doesn't have many relatives, stating that none of them have been true to her or happy for her family. She recounted how her mother was often taunted and "cursed" by relatives for moving to Mumbai. These relatives doubted her mother's ability to survive in the city. However, her mother's decision proved successful, leading to a happier life for them.
Roshni expressed that blood relations aren't always the most important. She believes that relationships can grow organically and be just as meaningful. She highlighted the importance of the friends of her mother and herself who have become like family. "Sometimes people just come like angels, and then they are in your life," she shared.
Roshni Walia was born on September 20, 2001, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. She began her career with television advertisements and debuted as a child artist in "Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki". She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Maharani Ajabde in "Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap".
Roshni is set to appear in the upcoming film "Son of Sardaar 2," alongside Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur. The film, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, is slated to release on August 1, 2025. "Son of Sardaar 2" has Ajay Devgn, along with Mrunal Thakur, deciding to help Roshni Walia by becoming her Sikh parents to tie her wedding knot with the love of her life.
